This purple cotton ensemble was built as a prototype for our Ball Gown Bodice (PRP006) pattern as well as our Basque Jacket (PRP010) Pattern. It is pattern size 08 with a 34" bust and 24 1/2" waist and the skirt is unhemmed at 44". The gown features an eylet closure in the back, polished cotton lining, and an 1860's period correct reproduction print. 3 piece set (basque Jacket not pictured) |

| Cage Crinoline |
The ultimate base to the ladies skirt. Since the cage has many more wires than a hoop, the shape of the dress takes on a more period bell-shape rather than the cone seen when a four-bone hoope skirt is worn. Whether you are supporting a day dress for going visiting or that perfect ball gown skirt, a cage will give you a more period look!
Sizes range from 70" to 120" around the botom rung. Pictured above is a 120" cage at right is a 90" cage. |
